In total 192 students completed the form. They found the project enjoyable and engaging, and they appreciated the use of technology

In total 19 teachers filled out the forms. Although they expressed their satisfaction for the successful implementation of the project, few of them &nbsp;found the work challenging as it required them to multitask. &nbsp;However, the majority &nbsp;of teachers expressed their satisfaction for the &nbsp;project and its positive impact on their students.

Parents expressed their satisfaction with the project, while many of them expressed their interest &nbsp;to actively participate in the project as well as their eagerness to contribute in any way they can.

Our collaborative e-book was 5th Group's contribution to the issue of April

Spring STEAM e book

According to the issue scheduling, the 5th Group had to work on the news column. Because all the participant countries shared common love as well as massive production of olive oil, we decided to explore olives in every way. We divided our survey in the following five tasks: How to Make Edible Olives The Story of the Olive Tree In Mythology Olive Oil Olive Species Grown In Our Region Olive Trees We gathered the outcomes of our survey in a collaborative e-book

After that, all partner schools met on line to jointly decide the name of our newspaper. We, little citizens of Europe, experienced democratic proceedures through voting. All the proposed titles were:

In November 2022 our School, 19th Kindergarten of Glyfada, had the privillage to be accepted to participate in an innovative e-Twinning Project named Happy Journalists. It was the first time we took part in an E-Twinning program and we were all exciτed about this. Three teachers in our Kindergarten participated with their students. Because we attended three different partner sub-groups within the project, we named our classes as Class 1, Class 2 and Class 3.

Happy Journalists worked together to find the project's logo. Each class worked on their own proposal. In our school all three classes worked together to propose only one logo for our kindergarten.

Having decided the title we would propose, partners of the 5th Group had to decide the Group's title proposition for the final voting of all partners. We met on line for the first time, in excitement and joy. We said Hello, voted through a poll in order to choose the best title to collaboratively propose, and danced together before we say goodbye!

A total of 30 school classes from six different countries participated in the Program.

The five issues of the newspaper were scheduled to be:

On February 2023 a terrible earthquake hit our neighbour country Turkey. Because of this, students did not meet on line in support to our partners in Turkey. Yet, they shared February's quiz, discovered the topic of the second issue of the newspaper and worked collaboratively for the News column

Mrs Xenia Stouka, journalist to the popular newspaper "Eleftheros Typos" was kind enough to answer our questions about journalism. This is our question to her: Why did you choose to be a journalist?

 We all agreed that every member of the Group would research on the sport that was also chosen as the Group's element for the collaborative drawing. Thus, our contribution would be on canoeing!

Step 2: Butterfly was our element for the collaborative painting

According to the issue scheduling, the 5th Group had to work on the cultural column. We decided to create together a fairytail about umderwater animals and publish it on line. We took turns in writing, we agreed on the story's title, and each school of the group undertook the task to create one of the pages of an e-book. For better co-operation we used a collaborative web2 tool.

Formative evaluation for parents

According to the issue scheduling, the 5th Group had to work on the music column. We decided to  create a musical e-book, full of winter melodies. The songs were either traditional, loved children's songs or new songs specialy made for the newspaper.

This month students did not meet on line to work together on April's quiz, as they couldn't find a common date, due to Easter vacation that kept the schools closed in different dates. Yet, they shared the month's quiz and discovered the topic of the 4rth issue
