A Brief message
When I am going over these tanks I will be focused on the hard factories (speed, power, amour). However, there is much more about these tanks I while not be talking about, and would highly recommend doing your own research on these tanks as well. Also, these are not all the tanks used if I covered all the tanks this book would go on forever.

Nation: USSR
The T-34 was the main tank of the USSR which they would use for the whole war and even after for some time.
The T-34 would be mounted with man different times of guns. However, the gun I will be focused on for the T-34 (and all the tanks) is the first gun that was mounted on the tank.

The M4 Sherman was the tank that the USA used most of WW2 and was also used after and was fazed in 1999 (The USA fazed it out much earlier). This gave Sherman a life of almost 60 years.
The M4 Sherman had the highest survivability of any tank of WW2. As well as being one of the most reliable tanks of the war. There are many variants of the tank used however I will only be focusing on the base version.

Britsh tanks are often not well known. This is mostly due to the fact that they used many American tanks, they had lost all of the tanks in Dunkirk and did not have the industry to rapidly make tanks as the USA did. However, there were still Britsh made tanks were still used throughout the war.

Nation: France
French tanks are in a very interesting situation as the surrender of France very early in the war meant that they were not making new tanks as other countries did during the war.
Gun: The Hotchkiss support a 37 mm (1.46 in) Puteaux SA 38 gun.
Amour: Hotchkiss only had 0.98-1.57 in of amour which is not much but the Hotchkiss was made to be a light tank.
