PREFACE
In the framework of the European program Erasmus Ka2 + “www. AMUSE (U) MENT”, we are involved with four other schools in creating our own museum, in order to cultivate our relationship with our cultural past, to express our own point of view and to create.

We, the 1st high school of Avlona, undertook to create a folk museum. A folk museum does not focus on great works, famous people, great achievements. It is interested in ordinary people like us. It examines aspects of their daily lives. What tools do they use, what jobs do they do, how do they dress, how do they eat, how do they have fun ...

Folk museums usually capture the daily life of the past. The difference of our museum is that it does not only deal with the past. He deals equally with the present, but also focuses on the future by making assumptions about it. So in the e-book we created we deal with a specific aspect of the daily life of the common man: with his professions.

In our book we organize our material in 3 axes: past, present, future. We use material that we created with our partners, during our meeting in Greece, but also material that we collected ourselves. For the past we used the material we gathered during our visit to the folkoric thematic park in Avlona. For the past we used the photos we took during our tours in Athens. For the future, we used the material we gathered from the workshop that took place in our school with our classmates about the professions of the future.
