Hi, my name is Nayvee. I'm 15 years old and my best friend is my dog Willow. I adopted Willow last year because I was bullied at school and needed a friend to be by my side to comfort me. These girls from the sorrowful world at my school would make fun of my looks and height. They would call me names like Nerdy Nayvee and I just couldn't take it anymore. My grades started dropping and I started skipping school. I was miserable. I couldn't even smile anymore. I just wanted to give up. I went from being the smartest girl in the school to the dumbest just because of the things those girls said. But one thing I didn't realize was that every time I cried the sky started storming. I thought it was just a coincidence so I didn't think much of it. With every tear I shed the sky would keep storming and storming and storming. But whenever I stopped crying it cleared up.
I woke up one day and decided to take a walk to the pet shop to clear my head. Before I walked in, in the window I saw the cutest dog ever. I went inside and asked the worker if I could hold that dog and he addressed “Yes, of course!”.

I picked her up and I swear I got lost in her eyes she was so cute. I knew that I needed to take her home so I did. I decided to name her Willow. I began to play with her and while I was it was almost like I forgot everything that happened to me when I touched her. Willow made me so happy. I started to go back to school but this time with Willow. And whenever those rude girls said stuff to me it didn't affect me because Willow was there. Willow was like a key to my happiness. I got home and took Willow to the park. We played fetch with her favorite toy a pink sloth.
While we were playing 4 girls came up to me. There the same girls that bully me I thought. “What do you want,” I said. “We just wanna know why your sitting on the grass looking like a dog,” they said and laughed. I told them that I was playing with my dog Willow. “What dog? Are you the dog?” they snickered.
I looked behind me and Willow was gone. “She was just here a second ago,” I replied. They laughed “Later Loser,” they called. I started freaking out I got up and started searching for Willow. “Willow, Willow!!” I called. No response, all I could hear was my voice echoing and the girls laughing at me.
