6th Grade Myths

This story is about a 14-year-old girl named Posie. It all started on the first day of school. Posie walked into her new high school excited. Until she saw EVERYONE staring at her. She was very confused until someone said “What are you wearing freak”. Her bright-colored pants and ruffled shirt made her insecure. She now walked down the hallway in fear because she didn’t know what would come next. She went into school with confidence and came out with not a single drop of it.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The next day came fast enough and instead of her bright color clothing, earrings, and makeup, she had baggy black sweatpants, no earrings, and no makeup. She walked into the school again with even more confidence thinking no one would say anything. But she was very wrong! As soon as she stepped into the school building again all eyes were on her again. The same kid from yesterday called out “EMO WHY WOULD SHE WEAR THAT” All his friends started dying laughing except for one. She looked over at him with the dirtiest look and walked away.&nbsp;

The girl with blue ripped jeans and a pink top walked over to Posie as tears were rushing down her face. She said “Come on don’t listen to them let's go get you cleaned up. My name is Mia by the way” Mia walked Posie to the bathroom. “So whats your name?” Said Mia. Posie looked up as she was blotting her face with a damp towel. She replied “P-Posie” in a teary voice. “Here give me your schedule I'll walk you to your next class,” said Mia.

The next day Posie felt relieved to have a friend and went right back to her bright clothing and makeup. She walked into the school and got made fun of again. But she had her new friend Mia to defend her. She was filled with the same confidence as the first day of school. before mia and Posie split up before class Mia yelled "Meet me and my friend Ethan for lunch today." Posie was happy she might make another friend.
