This story starts like any other with a teenager in Los Angeles named Phillip Wittabane. Phillip goes to Oxford Academy and is 17 years old—the son of the most famous detective in Los Angeles, Mike Wittabane. Phillip wants to be just like his father and save thousands of people. When he grows up he wants to be a detective for the F.B.I (Federal Bureau of Investigation) and do great things for his country. Phillip is autistic and suffers depression from the death of 2 family members: his father and his uncle. Although he has autism he is brilliant like Dr. Shaun Murphy. In his life, his closest friend is his mother. All of his other relatives are deceased. Except his grandfather who was declared missing around the time of his father’s crash. But from the looks of his living space, it was believed that his grandfather was kidnapped a week before 9/11/2001. He was believed to have been taken as a ransom but the case went cold never to be heard of again.

Mike had saved everyone from a remote explosive device meant to kill his wife, Charlene Wittabane. Although he saved many lives, no one knew how Mike found out about the explosive. No one was able to question him because he had gotten in an accident soon after the explosive was discovered. But after searching the wreckage there was no trace of there being a body besides a trail of blood leading into the woods.  Since those times Phillip has grown to be extraordinarily anti-social and hasn't made any friends whatsoever. He gets bullied for the way he looks or talks and he keeps all his emotions to himself and he doesn't even tell his mother.

One day he came home to an empty house and clutter everywhere. It looked like someone was looking for something until he realized that he still had his grandfather’s medallion and thought to himself; Could this have been what they were looking for? Then the next thing he knows, his whole world is darkness.

He wakes in the middle of an alleyway with nothing but his shorts. He felt something wet on his back dripping down like a miniature stream. He already knew it wasn’t sweat it was blood. He had so many bruises and cuts on his body that he could barely walk. Once he had full vision restored he had seen he wasn’t alone. It looked like he wasn’t the only victim. The others weren’t treated as “nicely” as he was, everyone either had a slit throat or a punctured chest. But these corpses were only weeks old. And they looked familiar for some reason, then he realized they were family from his mom’s side. They were said to be missing for years, so how were these corpses weeks old? But he noticed two people that weren’t there: his grandfather and mother.

He soon noticed his grandfather’s office door. Something was hanging from the knob, his grandfather’s medallion. But it was his grandfather’s door and it was slightly open, the only light source he had had in the alleyway. He opened the door fully, finding himself in the realm of the dreaded. As soon as he stepped inside, the door had shut behind him. He was left looking at skulls and bloody weapons. He took a shotgun and a sword with its sheath. He didn’t know what he was about to go up against but he did know he was destined to die. As he ran into the Red Woods he didn’t look back.

He is glad he took the weapons he did because he soon came to face a hydra, ogre, and sandworm. But then a few days later he felt he was being watched. Phillip then yelled nervously,” You better come out because I know it won’t end well for you!”
“Don’t you dare,” said a voice in the shadows,” I have been the only thing here to keep you alive.”

“What do you mean,” Phillip asked. The voice revealed her true self and what Phillip saw wasn’t as pleasant as he was expecting, he saw a woman with the body of a human and a lizard’s tail and eyes. Phillip asked,” Did you used to be human?”

“Yes and no, I was modified at birth,” the woman responded. “I didn’t give a proper greeting, my name is Ziva and I have lived here for 13 years. What about you? What is your name?”

“My name is Phillip and I have been here for what feels like 2 days,” Phillip replied. Then Phillip and Ziva kept talking on and on about how they got there. And as they walked farther, Phillip kept finding more evidence of his mother and grandfather. Until they came upon a clearing in the woods where they found them. But there was also a shack.

Phillip started to run to them but then they yelled,” NO! IT’S A TRAP!” Phillip didn’t hear him over the wind blowing past his ears. He felt something as he ran and he stopped to look at what it was. It was a landmine! He stood completely still trying not to trigger it. He realized it was inactive He then heard a familiar voice say,” Aren’t you a little far from home, Philly?”

Phillip confusedly replied,” Father? I thought you were-you were….”

“Dead? Why Phillip, shouldn’t you know when someone fakes their death?”

Phillip said,” But why? Why would you do this?”

“For crying out loud it’s obvious even a ‘detective’ like me would know why. Try put the pieces together Phillip, I hurriedly left the scene where the explosive had gone off, I answer no questions whatsoever, and I knew where the bomb was. ,” said Mike.

“You didn’t,” Phillip said.

“Oh, I did and it felt great but when I realized how many people there were in there I decided to ‘save’ everyone and get the title of hero. But it didn’t go as planned and people started asking questions about the amount of evidence so I faked an emergency call. I thought I would have enough time to plant another but I didn’t so I set them to all set off at the same time. I ran out of the vehicle with my pistol and planted fake blood along the side of the road to look like it splattered. Then I watched from afar as everyone was trying to find evidence of what caused it,” Mike carelessly explained.

Everyone was in utter shock because he didn’t care at all. Mike went to strike while they weren’t paying attention. Instead of hitting Charlene or Tobias, he clashed with another sword, it was Ziva! Phillip and Ziva fought Mike with perseverance. Mike wasn’t an easy opponent to defeat. They fought for what felt like hours until Mike got tired and started to give up. While Mike wasn’t paying attention, Phillip then sliced off Mike’s arm giving him a minute to live before he bled out. He chose to say,” I’ll be back! You’ll never forget this moment or ever forget me! Mark my words…..”

Phillip was helping Charlene and Tobias out of the ropes. Then a shot was fired…. Tobias fell to the ground bleeding out from his chest. The one holding the gun, Mike. “You always make sure there isn’t a pulse,” Mike said using his last breath,” Don’t think this is the end, Phillip.” Mike fell and this time sure he didn’t have a pulse. Charlene hit the ground in tears. Phillip and Ziva were still in utter shock at what had happened.

1 month after these events took place they were all sitting by Tobias’ grave saying one last goodbye before they went back to the overworld forever. For they never wanted to come back and relive these events. Ziva wasn’t able to come with them because she was bound here by her “owner”. Tobias was buried outside the entrance so they didn’t have to go in to see him. Charlene still finds herself crying to this day. Phillip finds himself to be more social and still talks to Ziva through the entrance. She’s extremely helpful with his social problems.
