War of the Gods
Hello, my name is Ivar and I am a cripple. I have no family and only one friend, his name is Ragnar. We have known each other from birth. One day the two of us went to the bar.  We were sitting at the bar and an old man came to talk. He said to me “ I heard the clan of Thor declared war on us”.

        “ Yes, “ I said.
“Then you two should be getting ready,” the old man replied.
“ They will never let a cripple and a farmer go to war, they say it's a liability.” I said.
“Do not give up, I believe in you, you will become greater and more powerful than the gods.” The old man said.
“Fine,"I said. Ragnar and I got up and left to get ready for the next day.
The next day Ragnar and I got our swords and my crutches. We walked to the ships and as we were about to get on the ship, the chief warrior yelled to us.  “You can not come on my ship, you are too weak. If you want to fight about it we can duel.” Ragnar took his sword out.
“Put the sword down, Ragnar. We will take our own boat, can we just  have some men,”  I said.
“ You can have one of our shipbuilders and a rowboat, they are by the dock”. The chief replied.
We went to the dock. There was a boat  and a man. We got  in the boat and the man followed. We went out to sea. It took us 3 days to get to the first island to camp there. On the boat me and Ragnar talked about farming and things we wanted to do in the future, but the man did not speak.
When we set up camp I asked the man his name and he said, “Floki.” I asked him if he had any family. He told me to shut up.
Late that night a bolt of thunder hit our boat. I yelled to the others “ Thor has struck our boat.”  I tried to get water to save the boat, but it was too late the boat was gone. Then all the sudden with a wave of my hand a boat worthy of a god comes out from the water.  It was made of gold.

“How did you do that? “ said Ragnar and Floki.
“I do not know, “ I said. “I just felt like I wanted to do it and I waved and then it came out of the water.”
“ Let's hop on,” yelled Ragnar! We all got on the boat and looked around. “I found the steering wheel,” said  Ragnar. When I was still trying to get up the boat with no dock and falling all over myself. I finally got up and saw the steering wheel and something was just telling me that I needed to touch it. I did and the boat rocketed right to the battle field.
“I guess we are going to fight ,”  said Flokie.
“ Yes we are,” I replied.
“ I am ready,” said Ragnar.
                  “ Me too,” said Flokie.
We set off to fight the people of Thor. It took an hour for a trip that was supposed to take days. When we got there all we saw was a battlefield full of ships half sunken and the chief's body floating in the water. There in the distance, 10 boats full of men sat and waited for us to make a move!
The boat sped up and crashed right into the side of one of the boats, sinking it. Then I lifted my hands up and a thousand swords came out of the water.
Striking all of the men down! Then thunder bolts rained down on our boat. I took Ragnars sword and raised it up to the sky and all of the thunderbolts rained down and hit the sword.  I swung the sword and all the lightning flew to the sky. It hit Thor. Thor was mad but let us go home.

Our journey home was only a couple of hours. No one said a single word after the battle. When we got home the old man was sitting there waiting to congratulate us.
“ Hello there,” said the old man. Turning into gold  and transforming into Loki.

“ You are Loki,” I said.
“ Not just Loki but your father,” Loki replied. “ And I am proud of you.”
After that my father, Ragnar and I went back to our farm and lived a peaceful life.
                                                         THE END
