The Tennessee cave salamander was designated our state amphibian in 1995.

It produces a mucus that covers their skin.

They have very sensitive and absorbent skin.

gorillas typically live in the lowland tropical rainforests of central africa although some subspecies are found in montane rainforest and in bamboo forest

Gorillas stick to a mainly vegetarian diet, feeding on stems, bamboo shoots and fruits.  They also like to eat termites and ants.

In the wild gorillas can live to over 40 years old gorillas are classed as infants until they reach around three-and-a-half years old and adults form around 8 years males between 8-12 years are called blackbacks

We share around 98% of our DNA with Gorillas.

In general,an adult giraffe stands 14 to 19ft

Dolphins color is gray. Their height is 2 to 3.9m(6.6 to 12.8 ft.) Their weight is 330-1,400 lbs. They feel like soft wet rubber and like a grape.

They live in the ocean and some live in rivers. Sharks, fish , whales , and sea stars.

Born knowing how to swim. When dolphins are 20 they go away from their parents. Moms are called cows and dads are called bulls.

Dolphins sleep with half of their brain and with one eye open because to stay alert of predators.

Dolphins are one of the smartest animals and are known for their playfulness.

Dolphins use echo location to catch prey and look out for predators.

The skin typically is dull gray and tough and has toothlike scales. Most sharks have an muscular, asymmetrical, upturned tail.

First it comes to eggs, second ovoviviparity, third is newborn, then it is youth shark, last is an adult shark.

Sharks must keep water moving over their gills to breate

Sharks can smell prey up to 3 miles (5 KM) away

Butterflies can come in many colors and patterns. They weight 0.0095 to 0.026 ounces. Their length is 1/8 in. to a huge almost 12 inches. My animals skin texture is fury.

Butterflies are found in every habitat from tropical forests to deserts to grasslands to tundra! They could live with any type of animals and insects, except with Arctic animals.

Butterflies eat sweet nectar from flowers. They get their food from flowers.

They live up to six to eight months. stage 1:egg stage 2: caterpillar stage 3: chrysalis stage 4: adult butterfly

A group of butterflies is sometimes called a "flutter".

Butterflies and insects have their skeletons on the outside of their bodies, called the exoskeleton. This protects the insect and keeps water inside their bodies so they don't dry out.

Butterflies had been around about 56 million years ago.

A sloth is light brown and it is 4 in and 10 cm its weight is 10 to 20 pounds

A sloth lives in a tropical forest  other animals that live thier is a Red - Eyed Frog a Hornbill and a Macaw

A sloth eats leaves,twigs and buds itgets it food by triming it down and smacking there firm lips together

BABY:A baby sloth is born ready to face the world with eyes open,sharp claws,and fully formed teeth. ADULTHOOD:After it leaves the mother it reaches maturinty  in two to three years. ADULT:They have course brown fur,long limbs,and they have curved claws for hanging tightly onto tree branches

Three toed sloth can breath underwater up to 40 min 

It can take 30            to digest a leaf
