When a turtle is frightened it pulls its head and its whole body in its shell the shell is hard and also the shell of a turtle is hard so it can protect the turtle.

FUN FACT:&#160; when i sleep my mouth is open!

A crocodile pulls its mouth open then it pushes its mouth closed.

The dung beetle pushes its leg to push the ball its rolling.

A trap door spider makes a burrow it hides in it and puts stuff like leaves so predators cant see it. When the traps spider meal comes, the trap spider pushes the leaves out of the way and eats its prey by surprise!

A rattle snake moves its rattle by pushing it back and forth. The sound the rattle makes is a warning to other predators.

A frog catches its prey by pulling its tongue.

A polar bear waits in the cold water to catch a fish. When the polar bear is ready it pushes its head to catch the fish with its mouth.

PULL: pull means something that you move but you move it towards you. PUSH: push means something that you move but away from you.
