Elementary books

Did you know that Peruvian eat a lot of interesting foods? One of the foods they eat is arroz con leche which is rice with milk. the most famous food ceviche is raw fish. Peruvians also sometimes eat baked or fried guinea pigs on special occasions. As you can see Peruvians eat a lot of different foods than us but some are the same too.

An important part of Peruvian culture is language and people. About three million people live in Peru. Most Peruvians speak Spanish Portuguese and french. These languages were introduced when explorers from Europe saled across the Atlantic and claimed the lands before the rest of Europe arrived. This is a little about people and language.

Peruvian sports are different in many ways. The most popular sport in Peru is futball witch we call soccer. The Peruvians enjoy surfing and treats it as a sport. Peruvians also enjoy volleyball,bullfighting,and racing. Peruvians love all of these different sports.

Peruvians like music and dance. A lot of music and dance traditions come from Indians. La marinerea is a peoples dance in Peru. Music and dance are at most Peruvian festival. Music fills the air in parts in Peru.

Peru is a country in South America.

Culture is made up of holidays, sports,food, music, dance, language, traditions, and clothing.

How do people of different cultures live together in unity?

People of different cultures are sometimes different then us but' somethings are still the same. its important to be kind to people that are not the same as us! you can play sports with them,make them some of there favorite foods, and learn about each others culture!

Traditional Peruvian clothing is different than the clothing we wear. Peruvian woman wore long colorful skirts called polleras. In the past men wore hand made ponchos. Back in the day kids wore leather boots or shoes. Now they wear clothes like us but in the past this is what they wore. 

Peru is a country that celebrates many holidays. Peru celebrates the festival of the sun they dance and were masks. Peru celebrates there countryon  July 28th and put flags all over there country and lights fire works. Peru celebrates Christmas,Christmas eve, and ester like us.Here are some holidays they celebrate there are more but these are the more important.
