3. Chinese people wore five buttons on their coat fronts as symbols of the five principals virtues recommended by Confucius – Humanity, Justice, Order, Prudence and Rectitude.
BRAINSTORMING
We used our perspective taking skills to think of a positive message to put on the buttons to make teachers feel special. Then we chose one quote we liked the best.

DESIGNING THE BUTTONS
1 - We used The Button Guy website to design our buttons.
2 - We made them look special for people and teachers by adding pictures, logos and colors.
3 - We printed out samples of our designs to see if the font was big enough and easy to read.
4 - We also talked about what we liked about them and what we wanted to change.
5 - We made some changes to our designs.
6 - Find out how many employees there are so we can print out a lot of buttons.
7 - Next, we printed out our final designs.
