Think: "Who is my audience?" and "What do they want to learn?"

Help readers picture information: - Add descriptions - Add comparisons

1. Add a picture. (Choose an option below). * Click inside the white square. * Click the image icon. * Search for a picture. Click on it. * Press the blue select button. OR * Click the plus sign (+). * Click Media. * Click Import. * Search for a picture. Click on it. * Click Done. OR * Click the plus sign (+). * Click Media. * Click pen. * Draw your own picture. * Click done when finished. 2. Add a background. * Click the inspector button (i). * Click on a background. (The border around your picture will change.)

Ruled paper

1. Insert a textbox &#38; type your sentences. * Click on the yellow plus (+) sign. * Click on TEXT. * Click on TEXT at the bottom of the list. * Type your sentences. * Click done when finished. 2. Change the font size, style, and color. * Click on the textbox so a blue line is around the outside. * Click on the inspector button (i). * Slide the blue circle to increase the font size (to about 24 or larger so it fits most of the page). * Click on the word FONT to select a different style. * Click on the color to change the color.

Chalkboard

1. Replace 'student name' with your name. * Click twice on 'student name.' * Type your own name. * Click 'done.' 2. Replace 'Title of Your Writing.' * Click twice on 'Title of Your Writing.' * Type the title of your story. * Click 'done.' 3. Add a picture: * Click inside the white square. * Click the image icon. * Search for a picture. Click on it. * Press the blue select button. OR * Click the plus sign (+). * Click Media. * Click Import. * Search for a picture. * Click on the picture. * Click the blue 'select' button. Pencils border

To record audio: * Click on the plus sign (+). * Click on Media. * Click Record. * Click Start Recording / Stop Recording. * Move the speaker icon to the center of the green shape.

Record yourself (audio) explaining what you liked best about your story and if there is anything you would change. Move the recording speaker picture into the center of the green shape.

- Fix spelling and puncutation
