What is alliteration?
"Alliteration is the repetition of the same sound or letter at the beginning of most of the words in a sentence." This definition comes from the Young Writers' Free Poetry Glossary.
Mrs. Gramentine's third grade students write alliterations throughout the year using their spelling words. When I heard that, I asked if she would like to create some type of ABC alliteration project.

We decided to use Book Creator because of its ease of use and the fact that the app allows work to be saved as an ePub file or as a video. Instead of having the students draw on the iPad, we chose to use Microsoft's Paint program. The students prefer this because they feel like they have better control over their illustrations; it's easier to add details.

We hope you enjoy their alliterations!
