Lauren and Jane are having a play-date. Jane's mom makes 10 chocolate chip scones. Lauren eats 3. Jane eats 3. What is the fraction of how many scones were eaten?

 The answer is that the fraction is 6/10 of the scones were eaten by two very hungry little girls!

Zara, Nadia and Sommer each want a piece of pie. There are 4 pieces. If they each eat a  piece,  what's the fraction of the pie eaten?<br />

2/9 of the freshly baked cake were eaten up by hungry Brynn.

There are 9 wolves. 8 go on a boat. What is the fraction for the wolves that go on a boat?

3/5 of the cookie has been eaten. The children each enjoyed a delicious part of the cookie.

Answer:  8/10 of the cornbread are left. Pearson and Blaine gobbled up the delicious hot cornbread.

Taryn's mom bakes a cake. She divides it into 11 pieces. Taryn and Dillan and Nana and Papa eat 4 pieces. What is the fraction of the amount eaten?

My mom buys nineteen treats for my party at school today, only seventeen ate them. How many are left?<br />
