You think they&#8217;re about to eat you alive but then you see something fighting them. You can't see what it is because it&#8217;s moving too fast. Then you feel it grabbing your arm. It pulls you up the rocks and you climb to safety onto the landing. 

...you are by the Eiffel Tower in Paris! You say &#8220;Oh mon Dieu&#8221; and wonder how you got there. A cold breeze blows you and you wish you were in a warmer place. Suddenly you are on a beach in sunny Jamaica. It feels too hot and you wish you were somewhere colder. Suddenly you are in Santa&#8217;s Village in the North Pole!

You get home and find your sister and the dog there! You ask, &#8220;Ash what happened? Why did you leave and how did you free the dog?&#8221; She replies, &#8220;I touched the dog&#8217;s head and suddenly I appeared at home. The dog must be magical." You look at each other.

You leave and continue looking for your sister. You're walking in the woods and you see a magical wizard wearing a black robe and a tall wizard hat. He comes to you and says, &#8220;Do you want to look into my magical crystal ball?&#8221; You shout, &#8220;You bet!&#8221; and think to yourself I really hope I see my sister Ashley. 

You continue to look in the woods for Ashley. As you walk, you start calling out her name. Suddenly you hear a dog barking. You walk towards the sound and see Ashley, the dog and a police officer. The police officer says, &#8220;I found your sister walking in the woods. Can I take you home?&#8221; You say &#8220;sure&#8221; and follow the police officer through the woods.

As you get closer, you see a dog that is trapped under some logs and has a rainbow glow around it. You hurry over to help free the dog but the logs are too heavy. The dog starts whimpering and you look into its eyes. When you do, you are stunned for a moment.

 The boy pinches you and you scream, &#8220;Ouch...this is real&#8230;.ahhhhhhh!&#8221;  You stop screaming and ask him his name. He says his name is Taboo and he's from Jamaica. Then he tells you that a queen adopted him and he lives in the castle. He says, &#8220;Do you want to see the treasure room?&#8221;

If you decide to leave Taboo and look for Ashley, turn to page 21.

If you decide to go see the treasure room with Taboo, turn to page 25.

You walk through a path and see his car parked on a road. You, Ashley and the dog get in his car and he takes you home.

You and your annoying step-sister are going home from your friend`s house. You decide to take a shortcut through the woods even though you know it's dangerous. It is getting dark and foggy in the woods. You start to get really nervous and wonder whose crazy idea it was to take this shortcut.

The wizard shows you a shiny blue crystal ball. When you look at it you see your sister at home with the dog from the woods.

You start walking and calling Ashley&#8217;s name. You get tired and notice that there are vines all around you. You climb the vines and see a castle far in the distance. You wonder if Ashley is in there and decide to use the vines to swing to the castle. 

The genie zaps you home but you don&#8217;t land in your house. Instead you land in a tree in your backyard and you see your sister playing in the backyard with the dog that you found in the woods. You scream, &#8220;Ashley!&#8221; and your sister sees you and goes to your parents for help. Your parents get a ladder and get you out of the tree and bring you inside. 

You notice a light coming from a cave-like room. As you enter, you see a Genie floating in the air and she says, &#8220;I will give you three wishes.&#8221; The first thing you wish for is a Mercedes Benz. The genie says, &#8220;Your wish is my command.&#8221; For your second wish, you wish for a computer and the genie says, &#8220;Done.&#8221; For your last and final wish, you wish to go home and the genie says, &#8220;Your final wish is granted.&#8221;

You walk around to the front of the cabin and see a man sitting on the stairs. Suddenly a man pops out of the darkness with a moustache and scraggly hair covering his face. He says, &#8220;Come in. Don&#8217;t be afraid. Can I help you?&#8221; You reply, &#8220;I saw my sister&#8217;s backpack outside. She is missing. Have you seen her?&#8221; He says, &#8220;No, but you look hungry. Why don&#8217;t you stay for some hot chocolate?&#8221;

If you decide to sit and have hot chocolate, turn to page 37. If you you leave and keep looking for Ashley, turn to page 41.

You sneak around the back crawling softly and quietly and are excited to find a secret staircase in the wall. Suddenly&#8230;guards are coming from the front of the castle right at you!

If you decide to jump into the moat, turn to pg 11. If you sneak behind the guards and go down the secret staircase, turn to pg 17.

You go to find Ashley. You walk through the woods and see an old cabin. You recognize Ash&#8217;s pink backpack by the tree. You tiptoe to the cabin preparing yourself for what might be inside. You hear dogs barking. You take a sneak peek in the window of the cabin but don't see anyone. 

You decide to stay for hot chocolate. You sit down at a beautiful table and he brings you a cup of hot chocolate. It has whipped cream, chocolate chips and marshmallows on it. You drink it and it tastes awesome and delicious. He brings you a plate with crumpets, croissants and biscuits. It reminds you of Paris and suddenly&#8230;              

When you get there you see a moat filled with alligators and the castle is heavily guarded at the front. You sneak around the back crawling softly and quietly and are excited to find a secret staircase in the wall. Suddenly&#8230;guards are coming from the front of the castle right at you!

You ask Santa if you are on the naughty list. Before he can answer you realize what&#8217;s going on - you have teleportation powers. Maybe the hot chocolate caused it. You start thinking of Ashley and suddenly you are teleported back to the old cabin in the woods. You go inside the cabin and find Ashley sitting down eating a donut. You say, &#8220;Ashley I am so glad to see you. You won&#8217;t believe where I&#8217;ve been and all the things I&#8217;ve been through trying to find you.&#8221; You ask her &#8220;where were you?&#8221; and she says &#8220;I was in the woods looking for you.&#8221; You tell her to drink the hot chocolate and think of home. You both do that and end up in front of your house.

You decide to go to the treasure room with Taboo. It is a big room filled with shiny gold bars and sparkling red rubies. There is a woman standing in the corner in fancy clothes. Taboo tells you it&#8217;s the Queen. You bow and say, &#8220;Pleased to meet you, your Majesty.&#8221; She says, &#8220;Why have you come to my palace?&#8221; You say, &#8220;I&#8217;m looking for my sister, Ashley.&#8221; The Queen says, &#8220;I don&#8217;t know where she is but you can have anything you want from this room.&#8221; 

You pet the dog and you get zapped to a jungle. You're in the jungle and it feels humid. You say to yourself, "How did I get here and where did Ashley go?" You get really scared and worry about how you are going to get out of there and find your sister. 

You ask him to transport you home and you are sitting on the couch with Ashley! You give her a big hug and tell her you missed her.

You see that it is a boy with dreadlocks. You think you&#8217;re dreaming and you say, &#8220;Pinch me.&#8221;

If you decide to pet the dog, turn to page 5. If you go look for something to help lift the logs, turn to page 29.

You go into the castle basement. When you get in there it is so scary. There is a statue of a gargoyle and it is dark and spooky. You find an old lantern and start walking in the dark. 

She leaves the room and then you look in the corner and see that there are silver coins and sparkly diamonds piled all over the place. In the back of the room there are six treasure chests with different things in them. Taboo tells you that you can have three of the treasure chests. You decide to pick chest number two. When you open it you find that it is filled with gold. You say, &#8220;Thank you.&#8221;

You tell your sister Ash to stay with the dog. You wander around the woods. You find a large stick and decide it could be used like a lever to lift the logs. When you go back the dog and your sister are nowhere to be found! You are worried and scared for your sister. 

If you go deeper into the woods to find Ashley, turn to pg 31.

If you go home to tell your parents, turn to pg 35.

"There are so many choices. When you get to the end you could choose a choice you didn't pick." Andy and Mason, age 10

When you jump in the moat you stay underwater holding your breath for one minute. Something scaly brushes your leg and you realize that alligators are coming after you. You get scared and scream and water comes into your mouth. 

Taboo says, &#8220;You have another chest to pick.&#8221; You open treasure chest number three. When you open it you find that it is filled with rubies. Taboo tells you that you have one more so choose wisely. Finally, you open the biggest treasure chest - number one. You scream with excitement, &#8220;I found Ashley and that dog!&#8221; You hug her and she says, &#8220;I&#8217;m glad to see you.&#8221; You pet the dog and then you disappear and find yourself at home.
