This song is new to me. I've never heard of this artist and I have found other songs from Harry Conick Jr. that I would listen to. I liked this song because of the strong brass beat. Especially the bomp, bomp brass beat/sound at the beginning of the song. So jazzy. His voice, the brass and the piano all together create a toe-tapping jazz song.

BLUEGRASS SONG

This genre of music is new to me. Dolly Parton is famous for her country songs. I didn't know she sang bluegrass music. I never really gave bluegrass a chance because the banjo is not my favorite sound-so I thought. I was surprised to find that I liked this song in this genre. The fiddle plays sweetly behind Dolly's voice carrying the melody. Not only that, the banjo acts as a percussion accent keeping that dancing beat. I didn't dislike it in this song. Dolly Parton's voice is unique and pairs well with bluegrass music.

MY FAVORITE

Song of All Time

I loved this song from the first instant I heard it. I was in my twenties and my sister and I sang it over and over again together. It brings a smile to my face because it reminds me of carefree great times with my sister and a sense of freedom that come when you are in your 20s. Also, this song is in my range, and it's easy for me to sing because the melody doesn't change that much. The song is composed with real instruments and the artist's voice is jazzy, unique, and beautiful.
