The blood in your body travels in and out of your heart and lungs to get oxygen. This will help give your body energy.

That is how the heart and lungs work together to help you breathe and keep you alive!

There are four chambers in a heart; two atriums on top and two ventricles on the bottom. 

The blood in your body needs oxygen to survive.

This is because the right side of the heart pumps blood to the lungs which are close together. The left side of the heart must pump blood to the rest of the body.
