WIND EROSION

Strong winds, after a long period of time, can break away parts of a land formation to give it a different shape or texture.

Wind erosion can be caused by a light wind that rolls soil particles along a surface. It can also be caused by strong wind that lifts a large volume of soil particles into the air to create dust storms

WATER EROSION
Water moves the pieces of rock or soil downhill. Waves also carry away small pieces of material. A wave can wash up onto the surface of rock or soil and then carry away pieces of material as it flows back into the ocean or lake.
GLACIER EROSION
Glacier can be thought of as moving mountains of ice. As they move over the landscape, they cause glacial erosion, which is defined as the carving and shaping of the land beneath a moving glacier.
MAKE & FIND YOUR OWN EROSION
Now its time for you to go out and make your own model of erosion or find in your local neighborhood where erosion may have taken place.
