HOW TO USE THIS BOOK
Welcome to my first Book Creator book!

In this book, I will teach you about some of the amazing tools I learned about in the Innovation and Technology Methodology course I took this summer.

As you read through the pages, imagine ways you could use these tools in your library work and possibly for adult, teen, and youth programming.

Book Creator is the first tool I will discuss. You're using it right now!

Book Creator can be a tool for collaboration. As such, I have left space for you to add your thoughts about the resources contained within.

BUT FIRST, WHY?
Why am I sharing this book and asking you to play with the tools within? Why do I want you to think about the ways these tools could be useful in your work at the library and for library programming?

Our library's mission is "to provide access to information, education, and recreation in a welcoming environment."

Two of our current strategic goals are:

"To establish a presence in the community to foster awareness and form a personal connection to the library and its programs and services.

"To position the library as the community’s vital source of information and resources."
OH YEAH, THAT!
To accomplish these goals, the library needs to do more than fulfill our mission of providing access.

We need to empower our community to engage with the library and their lifelong learning.

I want you to think about how these tools could help us achieve these goals.
