Maple Class - Personification

The city was no more. Everything was gone and on fire.

It all looked like a skull cracking open.

Suddenly, all was quiet. was it over? no, just getting worse. A massive strike of lightning smashed down a building.

Rats were crawling beside a girl, the last one in the city.

It was a dark night, and slowly streaks of lightning crept into the city. Argh! People screamed as trees were set on fire.

Everything was destroyed and on fire. Soon the city was dead quiet and abandoned

Suddenly, the air turned warm and the sky lit up all over the city. On the streets people were running to the bridge out of the city, but that had been smashed to pieces by lightning. People couldn’t just swim across the lake, it was deep because of the rain and wavy because of the wind.
