The wavy storm

The children in Maple Class have been producing some excellent descriptive writing about a storm using personification.  Enjoy!

Maple Class - Personification

As if world had been drained of colour, the sky turned black.

The waves started rising swallowing up fish.

Like a Giant's fist the horrific sea pounded the startled boat.

With fury and rage the storm smacked one wave of power and then as if the god's had saved us the sun rose with delight filling the sea with colour the light had been restored.

The icy,wind roamed over the bleak,shadowy sea.

The rain started hammering the black,gloomy and horrid sea. Soon it became relentless.

Cackling in the distance,the storm strided forward not stopping.

The lightning thrashed in every direction.
