THE CITY STORM

By Curtis James
As the world seemed to be being destroyed, the sky grew black and a hefty cloud drifted sluggishly overhead.
Thunder,lightning and hail.
The wind howled like a silver, hair-raising wolf.
The hail was shooting from the ebony, coal sky.
The tsunami ploughed the city like a shredder shredding paper.
Aggressively and purposefully, the lightning zapped an innocent tree causing it to set on fire making black coal smoke.
Carelessly and rapidly, the tornado swallowed the town and then spat it out making louder noises than a construction site at work.
THE STORM DOESN'T END HERE . . .
