A new book

The children in Maple Class have been producing some excellent descriptive writing about a storm using personification.  Enjoy!

Maple Class - Personification

This morning,something terrible happened.The worst thing ever! Somehow, the clouds grew thick and cold.Then, all of a sudden,a savage storm appeared from nowhere like a ghost.One by one, thunder crashed down on the little town, like a herd of stampeding elephants.

Unfortunately, lots of people didn't know it was coming, so they didn't have umbrellas.Lots ran to shops to get shelter, while others ran home.

Humongous, dark clouds smothered the sky, covering it in thick, dark smoke as the lightning crashed into the poor buildings,setting them on fire.

The cornfields waved at me, as the wind howled like a black wolf, bursting out with laughter.
