Expansion by Paige&nbsp;Bradley

Expansion&nbsp;is the masterpiece of the American sculptor Paige Bradley. It’s a very powerful sculpture, none can remain&nbsp;indifferent to it. Some people see a woman bleeding light when looking at it, others (and that’s my case) see a woman transcending, turning into light with her inner power.&nbsp;Expansion&nbsp;is definitely one of my favourites sculptures.&nbsp;Since the first minute I saw it I felt a mix of feelings that I can’t explain with words. I never saw it in person, but even through&nbsp;photos this sculpture doesn’t lose its power.

The story of&nbsp;Expansion&nbsp;tells us about changes and overcoming. Paige Bradley conceived this sculpture when she first moved to Manhattan, by that time it was difficult to the artists who worked with figurative arts to find a place to exhibit, many of them started teaching. And Paige felt that if she wanted to stay in fine arts she needed to make “contemporary” art.

The Traffic Lights Tree

That masterpiece was designed by Pierre Vivant. It has a set of 75 traffic lights. The sculpture was created to imitate a tree and reflect the energy of the Canary Wharf area in London, England. I'd really like to see how the streets there look in rush hour.

Man Attacked by Babies

Situated in Oslo's picturesque Frogner Park, this statue by Gustav Vigeland depicts a man with various child-shaped "genii" spirits, but what it really looks like is a guy being attacked by several naked babies, suspended mid-air. We can't blame him for attempting to fight them off, since they appear to be quite vicious. It's confusing.

Monument to&nbsp;the Unknown Bureaucrat

The ’Unknown Bureaucrat’ was created in&nbsp;1994 by&nbsp;Iceland artist and sculptor Magnus Tomasson. It’s probably the most noticeable, and certainly the most amusing and expressive sculpture in&nbsp;Reykjavik city, which is&nbsp;notable of&nbsp;the many little intriguing details that can be&nbsp;picked out.

Nathan Bedford Forrest Statue

The Nathan Bedford Forrest Statue was a 7.6 m tall statue of Confederate States of America Lt. General and first-era Ku Klux Klan Grand Wizard Nathan Bedford Forrest mounted on a horse in Nashville, Tennessee, located near Interstate 65 at 701D Hogan Road. The statue depicted Forrest shooting behind himself and was flanked by Confederate battle flags. Its abnormal facial features bore little resemblance to Forrest himself, and more resembled a screaming, deformed man.

The monument of the sea station in Burgas is a monument of anti-state, anti-church, and anti-Christianity. Successor to his godless uncle Rasate and a distant forerunner of Ludmila Zhivkova, he is the exponent of something wild, pagan, and demonic, but at the same time original. Prince Benjamin is the brother of Tsar Peter, replaced by God's will by St. Ivan of Rila. King Simeon, I had two marriages, and four sons, of which Benjamin was the youngest.

"Simeon had two sons, one named Bayan, and the other Peter, who is still alive and powerfully reigns over the Bulgarians. Bayan, they say, had studied magic to such an extent that he could suddenly change from a man to a wolf and any other beast."

Floating Baby Singapore

The "Floating baby" is located in Singapore and designed by Marc Quinn and that's actually his baby son. However, people are not happy about this sculpture. They can't blame the parental love but they don't want their baby on display.

This strange sculpture can be seen In Headington, a suburb of Oxford, England, a huge shark was stuck upside down on the roof of an ordinary house. The attractive figure first appeared on August 9, 1986, over the home of Bill Hine. Its creator is the sculptor John Buckley, who with the help of his friend the woodworker Anton Casteau, erector it. The statue is about eight meters long and weighs 203 kilograms. It represented a beautiful but potentially deadly missile.

Yayat Vegreville is a Gegand sculpture in Pysanka museum in Ukraine. Paul Maxym Sembaliuk's work is constructed from a complex array of two-dimensional anodized aluminum tiles in the shape of identical equilateral triangles and star-shaped hexagons, formed on an aluminum frame. The egg is 9 m long and three and a half stories high, weighing 2.5 t. This is the second-largest Easter egg in the world.

Shuttlecocks in Kansas City

Visiting the grounds of the Nelson - Atkins Museum of Art in Kansas City feels a bit like falling into Alice's Wonderland. That's because there are four large shuttlecocks in that museum.

They were installed in 1994. The artists found their inspiration for the sculptures by combining images for fun. Each sculpture weighs nearly 2,270 kilos and they're nearly 6 meters tall.

Man Hanging Out

Man Hanging Out is a statue of Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis hanging by one hand on the top of a building. You can easily miss the statue if you don't look up, it is located in Prague, Chech Republic. The statue is created in 1996 by the sculptor David Černý, whose work can be found all across Prague.

The creator of this statue is Thomas Lerooy and was created on April 27th, 2009. This sculpture is a bronze of a man with a giant head being dragged along the ground by an attached smaller body to express his own inflated sense of self-importance or ego.

This sculpture is located in the Egmont Garden in Brussels.

The monument was erected in honor of the 575th anniversary of the founding of the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. The author of "Totem" is the Belgian sculptor and artist Jan Fabre, according to whom the giant beetle strung on an almost 25-meter-long needle symbolizes "the research spirit of the university and the city."

The strange statue is located in Ottawa, Canada. The sculptural composition of Louise Bourgeois, a famous American sculptor, and artist of French origin includes a 9-meter bronze spider and 26 marble spider eggs.
