Attach the jump wire PINS to the HyperDuino...

This is a side view. The sockets can be marked using masking tape labels.

Add sounds to the micro SD card

Insert the Micro SD card into the adapter.

Then insert the adapter into your computer. There may be an SD slot on your computer ( or need to use an SD card adapter).

On your computer... Add up to 6 sound files into a folder&nbsp;on the SD card

Name the folder&nbsp;“01" * Re-name the sound files&nbsp;“002Name" "003Name" etc.

Eject the SD adapter and micro SD from your computer. Remove the tiny SD card from the adapter. Insert the tiny micro SD card into the mp3 module.

Attach the wires to the HyperDuino and mp3 module.

You will need 3  jump wires and a GRAY Rainbow cable.

How to add an mp3 module to your HyperDuino Project!

You can find a lot of sounds on the Internet. Download and follow the instructions for naming them and putting the files into a folder so the HyperDuino can use them. The HyperDuino and mp3 module will play mp3 and WAV files.

To create your own sounds or narration on a Mac ...

Go to FILE on the Menu Bar and select "New Audio Recording" option. Follow the instructions and create a sound file to put in the folder for your project.

This is a basic overview of how to set up the mp3 board.

3 jump wires (pin to socket) a GRAY Rainbow cable

You can find these supplies on the Internet (or in your collection of stuff! -or- You can also purchase an "Audio Narration Add-on Kit" from www.hyperduino.com that contains all you will need!

Be sure the speaker is turned on! Then touch the TouchPoint and you should hear your sound file 01. Insert additional TouchPoints to the adjacent wires to play the other files that you put in your folder.

YAY!!!!! ...but why stop here???

Attach your TouchPoints to a chart of your sounds! Add these TouchPoints onto your projects to add sound! Experiment! Add a BLACK Rainbow cable and LEDs so when you touch a TouchPoint... ... you hear the sound AND it lights an LED!

Plug the GRAY Rainbow cable into the WHITE box on the HyperDuino.

Place a TouchPoint into the RED wire at the outside edge of the GRAY Rainbow cable.

Attach the jump wire SOCKETS to the mp3 module PINS...

mp3 module pins: RX TX --- EMPTY/no wire VCC GND
