began as a

There are lots of ways to make a book project. Cardboard boxes, cut-up cardboard, papier-mache paper books from craft stores...

You just need to be sure there is enough room for all the electronics!

You will need to build a tiny "shelf" support so the top "page" of the book stays up over the electronic parts.

There should be a support on each side (like the Booo Book)...
...or corner supports (like in Emily's Sight Words Book).

The cover was made using half of a foam pumpkin, fake cobwebs.

The bumpy texture is made from "Modeling Paste"-- found in the paint department of craft stores.

This technique was also used in the Steampunk Sample Book.
