Its very easy for chihuahuas to get sick or harmed. This is because of their size. They can easily get some cancers, different diseases, heart failure and more. Many of these occur when they are just born. If they are diagnosed early enough, it may be treated. If not, it may take some time. Injuries like breaking bones can happen at almost any time a chihuahuas day. It could be from falling, from jumping, etc. While families are walking around the house, dogs can also easily be stepped on . They are very small and very fragile. some of the smallest things like fleas or ticks, can lead to getting infections and diseases. Fleas can itch a dog so much to where its gushing blood from itching and can cause many open sores on their skins. Another example is even if your and your dig are just playing with toys, if it jumps too hard or falls the wrong way on its legs, it can easily be injured. Chihuahuas can play hard but are also very fragile.

    Chihuahuas eat many things. Some chihuahuas like hard dog food and some may like soft gentle dog food. many families like yo feed their dog people food. Some people food can be great for dogs while other can cause then to get sick and die. for example, ham, turkey, salmon, and basically any types of meat are great for dogs. Some foods like chocolate, almonds, cinnamon, garlic and more. All of these foods can lead to dog sickness. If the dog gets too sick it can die. These foods are also bad for them because it can mess with their stumach. This happens when they eat something that is strange for unusual for them. Even if they it it more than once, it could still make them really sick. Yes, chihuahuas can eat people food but sometimes its not the best for them. If your unsure what food to give and not to give, then you should probably stick dog food just to stay safe. There are many good dog food brands like Pedigree, Blue Buffalo, and more. 

Types/kinds of chihuahuas

   There are many different kids of chihuahuas. Some can be smaller and some can be larger than average. Many have different colors like brown, black, white etc. Some may have different head shapes. Some are full of fur when others barely have any. Most chihuahuas have tall ears that point upwards and others have ones that hang down along their faces. There could be many differences like their tails too. Some tails may be long and some may be short. Also, unfortunately, some chihuahuas are born without tails, or have gotten injured and don´t have a tail no longer. When choosing the chihuahua that is best for you, think about what you would like in a dog. Happy? Hairy? Pointy ear? What colors? There is are also many types of head shapes ones like the apple-head, smooth coat, teacup, fawn and so many more to choose from when choosing the chihuahua that is best for you.

     In conclusion, dogs like chihuahuas can be very interesting animals. ans it may even be fun to have one. Reading more books and finding other resources can give you so many more good details and information about what its like to have a chihuahua.

They can be even smaller when first born. Also, the average life span for them is about 12 to 20 years. The oldest chihuahua lived for 20 years. They are actually very hyper animals. They have great hearing and will be bothered by the slightest noises. They are also pretty fast runners when it comes to chasing something like animals or a toy. Chihuahuas originally came from Mexico and they are known to be there. Mexico is full with different chihuahuas and many others too.
