A popular activity for outdoors people is hunting. Some people may hunt to regulate animal population but some people hunt for food. Hunting is a good way to get out doors and get some fresh air.

A popular activity for outdoors people is hunting. Some people may hunt to regulate animal population but some people hunt for food. Hunting is a good way to get out doors and get some fresh air.

Chapter 1

There are certain things you need for hunting, like your equipment. The equipment you need sometimes depend on what hunting season it is but that's for another time. One of the most basic things you need for hunting is your bow or gun. Four of the most common bows used for hunting are the, Recurve bow, The Compound bow, The long bow, and the cross bow. There are also multipule kinds of arrow heads like the target arrowheads, the Blunt arrowheads, and the Broad arrowheads. There are many kinds of guns and ammo to hunt with. Some ammo is for animals large and small there is ammo for certain types of animals and then there's small and far range ammo for how far away the animal is. Something you'll need is a pocket knife to skin an animal after you shoot it. Some people like to sit in tree stands while hunting while other like to sit on a chair in a bush and some even walk while hunting. If its ever cold or chilly out you may want to bring some hand warmers and maybe something hot to drink. you also may want to bring a blanket or a couple extra jackets.

Deer and a lot of animals can smell you from very far away even if you just showered so you may want to get some scent reduction, it makes it so animal cant smell you from far away or smell you coming. you'll want some water proof or work boots to go hunting in and a bag to carry ammo and hand warmers and snacks in while you hunt. And one last thing is you might want some Walkie Talkies to communicate with someone if your hunting with them to maybe tell them that you got something or your going so they keep an eye out for you so they don't harm you or shoot you.

Chapter 2

In order to hunt you'll need tags a permit and a license. The tags are for how many or what animal you can hunt. for example if you get a doe tag then you can only hunt a doe and only one. But if you end up getting two doe tags then you can still only hunt does but instead you can hunt two. the same with buck and bear and other animals. To hunt you need a bow or a gun, but in order to shoot either one you'll need a permit for each. But in order to hunt at all you'll need a license. The only way you can get a license is if you're of age and you need to take a hunters course. If you don't have a license a permit or a hunting tag you will be arrested and brought to jail.

One important thing you will need to know to hunt is what season it is. Not seasons like Fall and summer Seasons like what animal season it is and if its bow or gun season. This is important because if you shoot the wrong animal or shoot a gun in bow season then you can get in a lot of trouble for that. There are many hunting seasons like Deer season, Black bear season, Wild turkey season, Water fowl season, Migratory season, Game bird season, Small game season, and there's Furbearer season. During these seasons you can only hunt the animal of what season it is. And if you hunt the wrong animal in the wrong season you can get your hunting license taken away. Then there is bow and gun season. Gun and bow season depend on what animal season it is.
