Introduction
Jackie Robinson broke the color barrier for baseball and organinized desegregation. Jackie is an amazing person and today I am going to share with you some reasons why he should be on a stamp.
I will also be sharing with you what I think the stamp should look like.
Reason#1
Jackie brook the color barrier in baseball which was segregated for more than 50 years. Jackie was also called many names that were unfair to him,but he kept his ground and had to let it go. Jackie was not able to fight back because if he did then people would start to think he was dangerous and never let and African American play in the major leagues.
Reason#2
Robinson was the first African American to be elected into the baseball Hall of Fame. he was not just a tool for other African Americans to play major league baseball, was an amazing player with a lot of talent and love.
Reason # 3
Jackie was a hero in many ways. When he was done playing baseball he helped in segregation. He helped in strikes and protest. Jackie was an amazing person that did a lot for our country. Jackie Robinson is a name that you will never stop hearing and I hope you will now see him a letters that you send or recive.
