Chapter 1
Guinea pigs can be identified by many characteristics that make them unique. One feature is the unusual noise they frequently make. It is a high-pitched sound that can range from a calm, peaceful sound to an alarming and loud noise. You can identify their feelings based off this sound. Another feature a pet guinea pig has is how sociable and friendly they are. They are naturally companionable with fellow guinea pigs. They are also very sociable with their human owners. They can purr out of either fear or comfort. Pet guinea pigs can interact with their small comrades as well as humans. Guinea pigs are sociable and possess many interesting characteristics.
Guinea pigs are wonderful pets and can be ideal pets for many different people. For one example, they are friendly to children. A child would enjoy holding a small, fluffy guinea pig in their hands. They can teach young children about responsibility and care by teaching them how to clean their cage, provide food and water, handling, and many more. Another example of a guinea pig's benefits are their relationship with their human owners. Guinea pigs' life expectancies are about seven years, unlike other rodents like hamsters and gerbils. Although their death would be more mournful, this can become a lesson for children as well, to help them understand how to cope with loss of a loved one or animal. Many benefits can come out of having a pet guinea pig.

Chapter 3
Although guinea pigs have many benefits, they can have negative features and flaws like all pets. One disadvantage is that guinea pigs are dirty. Rodents tend to defecate (2) more than other animals. Guinea pigs are examples of this phenomenon. They are required to be cleaned occasionally and have their cage cleaned more frequently. If not, many health problems may occur. Another example is their personal space. Due to their size, they need a large cage to fit in. This can cause discomfort if the cage is too small. Guinea pigs need more care than other rodents. A variety of foods are required for the guinea pig to grow up strong and healthy. They need attention to know their caretakers better. Guinea pigs often need more attention from their owners compared to other pets.
Guinea pigs have many essential needs like many pets. For basics, they need food, water, and shelter. Think of guinea pigs as a plant. They need specific needs to stay alive. From there, you can use research to further understand and go in depth of learning the species. It is recommended that you learn about guinea pigs before you buy one. There are many elements to a guinea pig's needs. Their diet restrictions, sanitation, and handling are just some essential necessities guinea pigs have. Many fruits and vegetables have attributes and also bad nutrition, usually sugar. For example, apples are high in Vitamin C but have a lot of sugar. Due to the amount of sugar in most fruits and vegetables, a stable balance of regular guinea pig food (3) bought at a pet store, fruit and vegetables, and hay (4) is ideal.
