People often find that art and other creative activities can help relieve the stress caused by modern day life. Drawing is an easy and effective way of taking your mind off problems. Chapter 1
When drawing there are certain specific supplies you will need.
First, you will need the basic tool of a pen or pencil. These will be used to draw the basic outline of what you are drawing.
Then, you will need to decide whether or not you would like your drawing to have color. This can be decided after you have drawn your piece so, do not worry if you are unsure if you want color or not.
When adding color you have even more options. If you want more subtle or specific colors, crayons or colored pencils would work the best. On the other hand, if you would prefer more generic or vibrant colors a, a marker would be a good choice. Markers are not commonly found in specific colors or shades, but are generally more vivid then crayons or colored pencils. Once you have chosen your tools you can move on to the next step.

Chapter 4
When beginning your drawing, try to visualize it first. In your mind imagine where everything is going to go. Visualize the proportions so that one part does not end up larger or smaller then another. When you are ready, begin to sketch you topic.
Sketching is drawing the basic shapes with short, light strokes. Feel free to erase and redraw something if you do not like how it turned out. Once you have sketched out your drawing and like how it looks, you can darken your lines. After you darken your lines, you can begin to color if you chose to.
If you want a certain part to stand out, try to use contrasting colors. Remember, when coloring you do not have to make your drawing realistic. You can chose to color your drawing whatever shades or colors that you want.
