Chapter 1

Twitch is a gaming live streamer platform where the streamers can make money. Twitch is also owned by Amazon. Twitch has been becoming more and more popular over the years since it has been out . Twitch has been out since 2011 and was made the official live streaming platform of the electronic entertainment on may 18th, 2014. The current most viewed game on twitch is Fortnite Battle Royale. On Twitch there are two ways to follow or subscribe to a streamer. The first way is to follow, which is completely free. The other way is to subscribe which can cost up to 5 dollars. Subscribing is basically following but you are supporting them more and the streamers will get notified and will see your name and most likely shout you out.

Chapter 2
The way to set up a Twitch account is pretty simple. The first thing is to go to were it says create a account. Next you want to type in your email and password. Then you want to create your Twitch password and confirm it. Finally you want to link your PayPal account witch is optional but if you don´t do that then you can´t get any money.

Chapter 3
There are many ways to make money on Twitch, but it can be challenging. For example if you stream once a week than you won´t make that much money. To make money you have to stream every day. Your viewers give you money by donations which leads me to my next topic.

Chapter 4
A normal donation is a way for the viewers to give a streamer money. How a donation works is first the viewer types ¨!donation¨ in the chat box. Then you want to click on the link that pops up in chat. Finally you will see a screen that asks you how much you want to donate and who you want the donation to be from. There is also another way to donate called bits, which leads me to my next topic.

Chapter 5
Bits is another way to donate. The way to donate bits is pretty simple. First you want to click the triangle in in the bottom right corner. Next you want to select the amount of bits you want to buy, each bit equals 1 cent so if you were buy 100 it would cost 1 dollar. Finally you want to type the message that you want to pop up when you send the bits and then click send.

Chapter 6
The most important thing on twitch is the streamers and twitch would not make any money without them. At the moment the most popular streamer is a guy named Ninja and he has over 5 million followers and 250,000 subscribers and he also makes over 500,000 dollars a month. There are many other popular streamers such as Tofue, Smellphuny, Secret_Mongyboi, and the second most popular streamer on twitch, RisingFeline.
