Why he deserves his own stamp

When he was about 14 he took a ride in an open-cockpit plane with a pilot. Before they landed he Benjamin was determined to become a pilot when he was older.&nbsp;

During his later career Benjamin served in the military, both over seas and United States.

Benjamin Oliver Davis, Jr. is a African American who deserves his own stamp. Davis was one of the first African American in the U.S. Air Force.

Benjamin was one of the first commanders for the Tuskegee Airmen.
