In Archery there are many pieces of equipment that you need to shoot competitively. The first piece of equipment you need is of course a bow. There are thousands upon thousands of bows but the three most popular are Prime, Hoyt, and Mathews. A few of the most common Prime bows are the Prime Logic CT3, CT5, and CT9. The CT3 can adjust to 24.5¨-30¨ draw length and 40lbs-80lbs draw weight. It has 30¨ axle to axle and shoots 335fps (feet per second). The CT5 and CT9 have small differences including higher draw length, axle to axle, and fps.

Hoyt makes thousands of bows. im going to talk about the Prevail. The Prevail has 35¨axle to axle, 25¨-32.5¨ draw length and 30-70lbs draw weight.

Mathews makes fewer target bows. Their selection has 6 target bows. The Trx has 40¨ axle to axle, 24¨-31¨ draw length and 50-70 lbs draw weight.

You will also need add ons to your bow including a sight, stabilizer, and a release(optional). For stabilizers there are multiple companies with multiple products. One of the most used is BeeStinger. There are multiple stabilizers they sell but you should get one with an adjustable back stabilizer as well.
