In soccer there are 2 goals that the goal keeper has to protect from the opposing team trying to score a goal. there is also 22 players on the field at once, your team and the opposing team have 11 players on the field at once. were you can play, you can play at a park or at your house with small goals. Some rules you will have to know in soccer is 1) that you can not trip other players. 2) if you are on defense you can not go on the offensive side. 3)Each team can name up to 7 substitute players. Substitutions can be made at any time of the match with each team being able to make a maximum of 3 substitutions per side. In the event of all three substitutes being made and a player having to leave the field for injury the team will be forced to play without a replacement for that player.
