In Slovenia, the first infection with Covid-19 was confirmed on the 4th of March. From the 16th of March schools and kindergardens were closed and most people worked from home.
People had to wear masks in public inside and keep 1-2 metre distance. We mustn't go to other town unless we had a permission related to job.
On the 18th of May kindergardens opened, on the 1st of June first five grades of primary school opened, and on the 3rd of June schools for all students in Slovenia opened. But we had to wear masks on hallways and we mustn´t mix with other classes.
We thought pandemic will end in summer, but it didnt, so we still had same rules wearing masks and keeping social distance when we came to school on the 1st of September.
On the 18th of October Slovenia declared the second pandemic of covid- 19. In the week of 19th - 23th the school for 6th - 9th classes and middle schools was closed - they had distance learning and a lot of people worked from home.
We have to wear a mask in public - outside (unless we're running) and inside and we mustn´t be outside from 9.00 p.m. to 6.00 a.m. All restaurants and bars are closed, open are just shops with food and most important things. Now our autumn break is 1 week longer, but because of this we will be in summer holidays 1 week longer in school.
When the autumn break was over, all students work from home, untill when, we don't know, and most people work from home again. In kindergardens can go only those children, whose both parents don't work from home.
