Introduction
Pond dipping is something you do in ponds [or rivers in river dipping] to see what is inside of them.It is exciting to see what is in them because you might see a living thing in the ponds or rivers.
Things you need!
1. A fishing net [with small holes in it other wise it might fall out] .
2. A sheet with different things you could find in a pond or river so you know what you found.
3. If you want you can bring bucket to put the things you found inside of it but you have to put it back in the water after ,also put some water that is level with your ankles.

Why is this important?
This is important because we need to know if living things are still in rivers.Also to know that the water is healthy and clean to drink.
How do you do Pond dipping?
1.Find a spot to do Pond or river dipping.
2.Take out all of the equipment you need.
3.Put your net in pond or river [If it is not deep you can let go of it].
4.See what you found!
