Step 1: Where to go?

First you must decide where to go. Why not go to the local field, or if your feeling more adventurous, get in to the car and take a drive to somewhere far away

Do not forget to decide when you are going. Confirm dates with adults first.

Step 2: What to do?

Decide what to do. Maybe just have a peaceful walk, or do some activities. Remember to get adult permission to do the activities and make sure that someone is supervising you.

Step 3: Transport

How are you going to get there? Are you going to ride a bicycle, or hop on a train? A few suggestions are: Car,Tram,Train,Bus and Bicycle.

If you are going by train , tram or bus, remember to look at a timetable, and buy tickets.

Step 4: What to pack?

What should you pack? Now you've decided what to do, you need to pack appropriately. For example: if your activity is pond dipping, pack some extra clothes. Stay hydrated! Always bring a bottle of water with you. Bring a coat if it is damp and a hat and sunscreen if it is warm.

Extra Tip!

Bring a snack, so you are not hungry while you walk. If you are staying there for the period of lunch, bring a packed lunch in a bag or box.
