What is it about?
If you want to make a home for invertebrates or even small mammals you can follow this step by step guide!
1. Materials
You can find many useful resources in the woods or outdoors but for you habitat you will want: Wood such as, logs or sticks (it's good if it's old and rotten), Rocks, smaller animals like invertebrates love hiding under rocks, rocks can be found on the floor as well as tiny pebbles!, Plants, leaves are great but remember be careful of spiky nettles. Use a few or even all these materials to build your habitat.
2. Build it!
Use the materials to put your habitat together. You could pile stack and put things together. If you wanted to attract birds you could put it at the top of a tree out of reach from predators!
3. Wait!
It might take a while but eventually animals will move into your habitat. Animals like rabbits, foxes and invertebrates will visit your habitat.
Why?
I think it's a good idea because animals don't want to get hurt and if they have a shelter they can hide away!
