Why do people in Egypt make pyramids
Most were built as tombs for the countrys pharaohs and there consorts during the old and middle kingdom periods.
The earliest known Egyptian pyramids are found at saqqara,northwest of memphis.
The earliest among these is the pyramid of djoser,wich was built,2636-2610 BC during the third dynasty.
why are cats sacred in Egypt
The Ancient Egyptians held cats in the highest esteem,the penalties for injuring or killing a cat were severe.
They worshiped a cat goddess,often represented as half feline,half woman,who they called Bastet.
The main center for the worship of Bastet was in northen Egypt at the city of Bubastis.
What did farmers use to do in Egypt
Most of the people were farmers.They grew barley to make bear,wheat for bread,vegetables such as onions and cucumbers,and flax to make into lien.
They grew there crops near the banks of the Nile River were the rich black soil was good for crops.
