Ancient Egypt

Year 4 pupils from Our Lady's RC Primary School, Manchester have made these eBooks to show what they have learnt in their Ancient Egyptian topic.

Egyptians worshiped <a href="http://www.catmuseumsf.org/egyptcats.html">cats.</a>They respected them just as much as themselves!

Cats are an important part of Egypt they helped Egyptians catch food.

They say that Egyptian cats protected them from danger like armies invading for their jewelry and other things.

When pharohs die they are put into a tomb that is gold and some are put into a tomb and then buried in a pyramid.There were many pharohs I cant even start naming them!

Why did Ancient Egyptians build pyramids?

Ancient Egyptians built <a href="http://www.ancientegypt.co.uk/pyramids/home.html">pyramid</a>s to bury their pharaohs in.It is a very sad time for Egyptians because their master has died.

There are still pyramids around today!Most of the pyramids are in Kyro but some are in sudan!

Places around the world have made other fake pyramids to remember them because they made loads of inventions!
