You may think that gravity is pulling down, but it is actually pulling to the center of the earth, called the core. 

Once you have escaped the earth's gravitational pull you are in space, where there is no gravity!

Gravity is a force that is pulling things to the floor.

Thank you for reading! I hope you learned a lot about gravity. We learned that gravity pulls toward the center of the earth, and it is very hard to escape gravity. 

It is very hard to escape the force of gravity because of how strong it is. That is why we need a really strong rocket ship if we want to go to space.
