The difference between day and night is that during day it is bright, and during night it is dark.

The earth is a huge ball that we live on. It faces the sun, so that is how we get sunlight.

Sunlight keeps the earth warmer during the day, but night gives us protection.

If we did not have day and night, it would always be light or always be dark.
