Do you ever think that the moon is giving off its own light? Nope. It is a mirror to the sun, which bounces light off the moon and hits Earth.

Earth spins around itself, and each side is taking a turn facing the sun and the moon every 24 hours.

Gravity is the invisible force that pulls us down so that we are not floating in space.

But guess what? We spin around the sun because of gravity.

When the sun shines on the earth, one side has light, but the other side is dark!
