The main vegetation formations of Sierra de Guadarrama are :

the holm oak (Quercus ilex),The Pyrinean Oak (Quercus pyrenaica),the Scots pine(Pinus sylvestris), the thickets of broom and creeping juniper, and the xerophyte pastures.
