Understanding Proportions
How to solve?
If we have a
and
We’ll have 48 and 48.
If the numbers match, it’ll be a proportion
If the numbers match, it’ll be a proportion
And if they don’t, it isn’t a proportion.
A proportion is an equation in which two ratios are set equal to each other.
Examples

Solving Proportions
When you solve a proportion you need to find the missing term. There are two ways of doing it. The first one is by doing cross products. The second one is by multiplying the term that is in front of the missing term and the term that is below or on top of the missing term, and then divide by the term you didn’t multiply.
