School Library

My school library is by the gym. The library is right by door 8 in Harmony Elementary School. The library is in a back hallway of the school and pretty small. It has shelves from floor to ceiling all filled with books. There are a variety of books for every grade, every student has a chance for something to read. The books are older but they have some good quality.
There are kind people that help kids find books, they are moms from the different classrooms that volunteer to help.
There's a class volunteer for every class, not one for every hour. There are no full time librarians just mom's.

Why the library needs to change

The reason I think the library should change is so that kids can go to the school library at any time of day in their free time and more than once every other week. The kids classroom teachers will not need to come with them because the teacher knows there is a supervisor down in the library. This will give kids the feeling of freedom to be able to go down to the library by themselves.
Kids will not have a book always sitting in their backpack waiting for their next library day to return it.

What my plan is.

My plan is for Mr.Paulson and the rest of the PTO to revamp the library into a library-computer lab. Mrs.T agreed to working in there as a library-tech teacher. This way Mr.Paulson will only have to have volunteers for Tuesday and Thursday. The PTO will only need to find volunteers for four half day shifts in the week. I talked to Dr. M about finding funds to revamp the library all ready.
