Meaning of Homelessness
The meaning of Homelessness is when people or animals don't have homes. They are poor and don't have much money to buy food and their daily need items. They have to live on the streets because they have no shelters. There are many homeless people. You might even see them on the streets begging for food and money.
Types of Homelessness include
(1) Chronic :Chronic Homelessness means people who have experienced Homelessness for at least a year or repeatedly while struggling with a disabling condition such as a serious mental illness,substance use, disorder, or physical disability
(2) Transitional:Transitional Homelessness means temporary Homelessness. Transitional homelessness is a type of accommodation that is meant to bridge the gap from homelessness to permanent housing by offering structure, supervision, support, life skills and in some cases education and training.
(3) Episodic: Episodic Homelessness means individuals who are currently homeless and have experienced at least three periods of Homelessness in the previous year. These individuals are often younger and suffer from some type of disabling condition, such as substance abuse, mental illness, and medical problems (2)

Effects of Homelessness
Effects of Homelessness include cold injury, Cardio-Respiratory diseases, Tuberculosis, Skin diseases, Nutritional deficiencies , Sleep deprivation, mental illness, and many more. Cold injury means you have an injury from extreme winds. Cardio-Respiratory Diseases are when you have heart diseases. Tuberculosis means when you have a infectious bacterial diseases. Skin diseases means when your skin changes when you don't have enough food. Nutritional deficiencies means when it occurs it can give you health problems when the body doesn't absorb or get the necessary amount of food of a nutrient. Sleep deprivation is the condition of not having enough sleep. Mental illness is one thing that some homeless people are not helped with. (3)
