SUGUNA PIP SCHOOL
I am Mithun Karthi studying in second standard in Suguna PIP School. I am a nature lover. I used to sow all kinds of seeds in my garden.
Whenever I see the sprouted peas, groundnuts, onions immediately I used to sow in my garden. I have planted strawberry, green peas ,green grams, coriander seeds, fenugreek seeds, red cow peas , orange seeds etc. I always used to water the plants in the morning . Immediately after school without changing my uniform I visit my plants and check whether the plants are in good condition and pluck out all dry leaves.
One day my mother and I were looking at the old albums , I came across a photo which was very interesting. I was surprised to see the picture, the place which I usually used to visit looks green with green plants but now that place was too dry and it has lost its greenery. I asked my mother what has happened to these trees and plants.
She explained this is all because of deforestation which leads to global warming, reduced rain fall, reduced under groundwater, increased temperature rise. On hearing this I felt very sad and I asked my mother what we can do for this to regain its nature.
All these can be reversed by planting trees, restoring the lakes, reducing pollution, reducing fossil fuels, stop using plastics. And start using solar and wind energy ,plant trees everywhere and save rain water. I asked my mother what can I contribute for this to reverse the nature.
