Krishna Agarwal is a young and driven boy who is 11 years old and is fascinated by science and especially rocket science and AI/technology. The sun is the main source of energy in space for heat and light.

The heat and light energy varies from planet to planet because of the distance and radiation of sun. The temperature is also affected by the heat of the core of the planet.

Nuclear fission reactors are great sources of electricity in space, as in this process nucleus is split to provide heat as it uses Uranium-235. It is extremely dangerous and harmful to humankind because of the chemical reactions that happens inside. It is said that just a kg of uranium is similar to 3 million kg of burning coal. US launched SNAP-10A Space craft which worked for 43 days only and now is slowly deteriorating at will take another 3000 years before it crashes.

Electricity generated through solar panels is the most popular source of electricity. A lot of missions have solar panels like the Opportunity Rover and the Indian Mars mission. The solar panels on the ground and one which are attached to the orbiter are different because of the weight which has to be decreased in orbiter but to recharge, the batteries have to be at a temperature of 0 degree Celsius so in order to stay heated they are loaded with Plutonium 238.
